"Wrocław Days 9–16 • May • 1962" - a poster promoting Wrocław Days Festival Wrocław Days, celebrated annually in June, originated from the Wrocław Days that were originally organised in May to celebrate the so-called liberation of the city after World War II. Numerous cultural and sporting events were held then. The event offered numerous attractions, such as shopping at the Book Fair, an opportunity to see unusual objects at the Antiques and Curiosities Market, taking part in events organised as part of the Factory May and the Oder River Festival and Cepeliada attended by folk bands from Poland and abroad, while creators and artists of traditional folk art exhibited their works there.
