Proposed Entrance to the Quad at San Diego State College

This sketch by architect Alfred Eichler shows the proposed design of the entrance to the quad at San Diego State College. The design, which relied heavily on the bell tower of the nearby Mission San Diego, was adopted, and the building still stands today.
