Gay liberation groups march on Albany with signs, "Mattachine Buffalo, Gay Is Good" and "We Are Lesbians And We Are Beautiful! Gay Power", and a list of demands. Fueled by the Stonewall riots in 1969 and continuing the momentum from the first Christopher Street Liberation Day march in 1970, activist groups led between 2,500 and 3,000 people in a march on the state capital.
