Prototype calorimeters being developed to be part of a vast collection of detectors which were used to study high momentum transfer particles in the North Area of the 400 GeV proton synchrotron. The calorimeters are to take energy measurements on hadrons (prototype on the right) and leptons (prototype on the left). They used the plastic scintillator called 'plexipop'.
