Public Art in Public Places

Public Art in Public Places
California, United States

(Nighttime view)
This unusual sculpture at historic Columbia Square incorporates six freestanding glass and steel panels, each of which contains 28 painted and image-laden glass sheets showing a series of collages that approximate a human form. The images come from print media and reflect the locale's context and culture, in this case, the motion picture and recording history of Columbia Square.
