'Pudding en Gisteren' is Frans Vervenne’s third choreography for NDT. It is accompanied by the music of Supersister, a rock group from The Hague, and its title refers to a short book with jokes from 1967. The subtitle 'een stripverhaal' (a comic book), was translated in the use of bright colors in the costumes and decor, and in the absurdist use of props, such as a giant pudding. The ballet is divided into five sections.

This ballet was commissioned by the ministry of Culture.
