Pulse

"Pulse" is representative of Staykova-Learn's signature approach to photography, which teases impactful abstract imagery out of real-life situations. She examines our environment and discovers constructs which may remain hidden to the regular eye. Staykova-Learn reveals these constructs to the viewer through the use of perspective, scale, composition, and timing of capture, essentially crafting each work authentically on-site.

The image is meant not to be decoded by the viewer, although such a desire is often triggered, but rather transport them to an alternate reality and epitomize what worlds are possible to see if we would just look at the world around us more closely.
