Punch bowl painted with chrysanthemums, of a style known as Imari ware. Potters in Arita, Japan, made this style of pottery for the European export market in Japan between 1710 and 1750, and exported it through the port of Imari.
Bequeathed by Mr J O Thompson through the Art Fund, 2004.
