Launched in October, 2011, Hoodiepet, LLC is a company based upon imagination, creativity, and, for founder Louise Kempe, upon her children. One evening daughter Alexia asked if her favorite plush toy could be attached to her fleece blanket. Louise promptly purchased a sewing maching and soon Hoodiepets were born. Kempe formed a company which includes her 7-year-old daughter Alexia and 9-year-old son Seth. Part soft, fleecy hoodie and part detatchable plush animal puppet, Hoodiepets proved to be very popular among young children. Friends can trade puppets, which attach to the front of the hoodie by means of velcro, and everyone loves the furry fabric. Children can also visit the online world of Hoodiepets, to learn fun facts about the animal kingdom and to register their own Hoodiepets by means of a special code.
