Kupyansky vertep, made in the village of Bohodukhiv, Kupyansky district, Kharkiv province, in the estate of the landowner Rosalion-Soshalsky. This vertep was transferred to the museum in 1936 by the last master puppeteer Gavrylo Panasenko, who performed the plays in accordance with almost a century-old tradition. The second act, performed on the ground floor, presented scenes of every-day life. It featured the Cossack, the Devil, the Old Man, the Innkeeper, the Priest etc.
