Anne is one of the women supported by Carakana Program and here she shares her story: NEW FOUND HOPE
"My name is Anne, I am a married 55-year-old mother of three and currently imprisoned at Lang’ata Women’s Prisons. With the money I make in the project, I send to my children who are not doing well financially. I also used some of it to buy personal effects in here. Whenever we are working on the patterns, we get busy and the days go by fast. We enjoy the work and I hope to join the group of those who have already left to continue with the project when I'm out of here. I am grateful for my newfound hope in Carakana."
