Putting kimono for a doll, Folk toys of Tottori prefecture

Nagashibina is created using red paper with white umebachi (Japanese apricot crest design) pattern to make the kimono for the dolls, while golden paper is used to make the obi sash and hakama. Young bamboo sticks are then used to fix the dolls in place on the sandawara lid.
