The putto, in glazed terracotta, is attributable to the workshop of Andrea della Robbia and belongs to the museum’s collection since from the 17th century; the descrizione buonarrotiana (1684) remember it in the ricetto. We know that Michelangelo the Younger had planned from the beginning a robbiane collection. The young boy, seated on a shelf decorated with colorful flowers, is intent on playing a cembalo with his chubby hands.
