The puttoes, in the corner of the ceiling of the Great Hall, hold a scroll with a Latin inscription: the writing alludes to the conclusion of the works in the Great Hall, occurred in 1565, after an extensive intervention of renovation promoted by His Highness the Duke Cosimo I de' Medici and realized by "the painter and architect Giorgio Vasari from Arezzo".
