Liddy's painting depicts the landscape and Jukurrpa (Dreaming) stories around Puturlu (Mt Theo) west of Yuendumu. It shows the Napanangka and Japanangka kirda wait (traditional owners of the land) and the owners who have passed away. It also shows the kurdungurlu (policemen or managers), relatives of the owners who make sure they carry out their responsibilities to the land properly.
