...but the important thing is to try. Monday at 8:30 in the morning we are going to start taking classes in shorthand and typing at the Oliver so that we’re not so think on that question, but even so I’m sadder than What’ll it be? Because I just can’t get any work at all quickly and time is flying. The Güera Olaguíbel is probably going to work in El Globo de Palavicini and the other day when I met her on the bus she told me she was being offered a job in the Education Library, but she needed a letter of recommendation from one of those big shots, and if I could get one she would let me have the job because she’s almost sure to have something in El Globo, and that’s why I want to see Chole or see whoever the hell I see to do me the favor. They pay 4 or 4.50, which doesn’t seem bad to me at all, but first of all I need to know something about typewriters and scribbling. So that’s how it is, just look how dense your friend is!
But right now the only thing I want is for you to get better and all the rest is in 5th and 6th place, because in 1st to 4th place is that you get better and that you love me, etc, etc. I must have bored you to death with so many things, so I’ll say good-bye now but I’ll be back soon (Song of the Woodpecker). Write to Chong Lee to say hello to me in your letters and write to me yourself or if you’re all better tell me when you’re going to go out to be able to go and see you because you can see I’m a real crybaby and if I don’t see you I won’t be able to help myself from weeping like Saint Peter.
For you to get better very very soon and to think a little bit about me, that’s what your sister (novia, cuata, wife) wants.
Frieda
Answer me right away in letters of condolence because I like them a lot.
