Installation of magnets for the ISOLDE beam



Geneva, Switzerland

Large magnets being lowered down to the underground beam-line which would take protons from the synchro-cyclotron to the ISOLDE laboratory. The photograph was taken during the two week shut-down of the SC in April 1967, which was principally for the installation of this beam-line.
