Wang Jinglan is a very innovative female painter. Her oil paintings break the conventions both in composition and color use. It is wonderful to look into them carefully. She is good at creating simple and mysterious magical realm, and finding unusual things in ordinary places. This painting was created in the courtyard but reflected the scene dreaming in the artist's heart, therefore full of the painter's subjective color.
