Usually QSL cards include date, time, callsign, name and frequency used by sender. QSL cards are written confirmation of this two-way radiocommunication between amateur radio stations. The cards most often have the same format and material as typical postcards and are sent through the mail as such. The cards shown here are examples of the many received by Icelandic wireless communication pioneer, Thorsteinn Gíslason, from his contacts abroad.
