It has beside him two men who are standing with trunks down as if they are helping to close his legs to see if fallen horse cell. In the background, on the right, Sancho Panza in the prone position, in perspective for background, head ahead and legs behind, got to his feet a man holding on his heels as if he were pulling. On the left, horse standing from the front, slightly turned to the left, with the head to the right, looking in the direction of Don Quixote; on the right donkey standing back to back with head turned to the left looking toward Sancho Panza. In the background, on the left, three figures mounted on horseback and three figures standing group. In heaven, on the right, representing the sun. Ground represented by the hatched area in yellow tone with geometrical forms stronger tone suggesting shadows. The sky is also represented in yellow.
