The holder of the seal for Queen Hedvig Eleonora is shaped like a bundle of ropes with a stylized flower in the centre. Her monogram is crowned on this side. The visible inventory number relates to the seal's history after the Queen's death. To begin with the seal was kept at her dowager's seat, the castle Ulriksdal. Eventually it was turned over to the Royal Wardrobe for safe keeping in 1822. In 1848 it was transferred to the Royal Antiquarian and Historical Museum (later a part of the National Historical Museums). The royal provenance caused it to be transferred again to the Royal Armoury in 1932 and in 2017 the Royal Armoury was merged with the National Historical Museums.
