Queen Sofia Magdalena's Seal

Queen Sofia Magdalena’s marriage to Gustav III was agreed upon already in their infancy as a way of consolidating the friendship between Denmark and Sweden. Her seal depicts, as it should, both countries’ achievements joined. The supporters are also from both sides: a lion from the Swedish side and a Wildman from the Danish.
