Look closely at this team shot and you’ll spy one of football’s greatest ever managers taking his first steps in the game. Front row right is future Aberdeen and Manchester United legend, Sir Alex Ferguson, in his second season with the Spiders. He made his debut as a 16-year-old for the club before moving to St Johnstone in 1960. Fergie would go on to play for Dunfermline, Rangers, Falkirk and Ayr United.
