Earrings in the form of a question mark are considered typical of the Golden Horde period. They have expanded to large areas from Altai to the Balkans. These ornaments were mostly worn by women, but similar finds were also known in men's burials. The form of the earrings, initially simple, became more complicated over time, especially in later times in the urban environment. The products were supplemented by pendants with various beads and chains. Earrings with several pendants were found in treasures and in women's burials of the 15th century.
