İstanbul, Türkiye

Large red leaves are attached by short stems to alternate sides of undulating parallel branches intersected by small red leaves. Each large lobed leaf is filled with pomegranates, rosette flowers, buds and leaves on a branched stem that forms the vein of the leaf. The undulating branches are filled with tulips, rosettes, stars and pomegranates. The composition ends in half-motifs down the long edges as though continuing to infinity. At either end are narrow borders of small leaves and heart motifs. The quilt facing consists of two pieces of fabric.
