Quinta do Passadouro

Photograph of a panorama of Quinta do Passadouro. It is a wine estate located on the right bank of the Pinhão River, crossed by water lines, on the edges of which vegetable gardens and orchards are established. On the slopes with less sun exposure areas of wood and "mortório" persist, and the surrounding landscape is enriched by the borders of olive trees and cypress trees. The access to the built nucleus, located on the hillside, is a cobbled path with whitewashed walls, marked by an alley of large trees. In the winescape two post-phylloxera terraced areas stand out, with different characteristics, suggesting the use of previous structures. Also noteworthy are the property's dividing wall and the water drainage system.
