Gold medal won by Frank Beaurepaire for first place in the 440 Yards swim on 5th February, 1910. Medal features A.S.S.A. monogram above a shield similar to that of New South Wales. It is supported by a fish at each side. Surrounding text in legend reads "AUSTRALASIAN AMATEUR SWIMMING CHAMPIONSHIPS". Reverse inscription framed by wreath reads, "440 YARDS / Championship / of Australia / Won by / F. BEAUREPAIRE / at Melbourne / 5.2.1910 / Time 5 min 36 2/5 secs".
