Gary “Butch” Cassidy served in Vietnam, the Persian Gulf, and peacekeeping efforts in Bosnia. He deployed to Bosnia as an Army Artist and produced a number of paintings and sketches. He produced this painting of the damaged Pentagon shortly after the attack of September 11, 2001.
