Rachel Brown-Finnis' England career spanned over 18 years between 1997 and 2015, during which time she made 82 appearances.
Brown was the first choice goalkeeper for the Lionesses during the 2007 World Cup, having conceded just two goals in an impressive qualifying campaign. She featured in all four of England's games, including a 6-1 win over Argentina and a 0-0 draw against eventual winners Germany in the group stage. The Lionesses were eliminated in the quarter-finals as they were overcome 3-0 by the USA.
In May 2009, she was one of the first 17 female players to be given central contracts by the Football Association. She also represented England four years later at the 2011 World Cup in Germany and Team GB at the 2012 Olympic Games.
