The vertical stand of this rai had an arrangement to adjust its height depending on the depth of the pot. It had holes along its vertical member to which the horizontal member holding the churner was fixed using a simple pin. The metal strip at the top and bottom, connected to the rai, helped in easy movement for adjusting height.
