This L.N.E.R railway poster dates from 1939 and was designed to attract visitors to the city by presenting one of its most scenic views. Pull's Ferry was originally a watergate and dates from the C15th, with the ferry house next door dating from 1647. In the background, you can see Norwich Cathedral. The poster is part of a well known series entitled 'It's quicker by rail'.
