Rain Cover for a Hat

Gyeonjitdae is a fishing rod with a single reel for coiling fishing lines. Fishing lines were let loose to drift downstream with the river current and retrieved up repeatedly to catch the freshwater fish in the river or by ice fishing. The fishing rod consists of a middle rod, a handle, a reel, and comb teeth. The reel was twisted to prevent the fishing lines from getting tangled and to keep the reel from breaking from the stress applied when fish bit the bait. Fishing using gyeonjitdae is a traditional fishing method unique to Korea.
