An illustration of the species Aspasiola esijhe, also called rainbow beetle. Esijhe is a Quechua indian word for rainbow in reference to it's bright multi-colored boy. It is often found on squash or watermellon and can be a pest that cuases damage to seedling squash. Habitus, whole insect, dorsal view.
