Raoul Wallenberg Monument

This memorial commemorates Raoul Wallenberg, a Swedish diplomat that saved the lives of thousands of men, women and children who had been taken to the extermination camps only because of their Jewish condition.

The work was propitiated by the Raoul Wallenberg Foundation and carried out by the sculptor Philip Jackson and is similar to the one installed in London in 1997.
