In February/March 2020, at the request of and in collaboration with the Archaeology Department within the Comunidad Indígena Ma’u Henua and the Secretaría Técnica de Patrimonio Rapa Nui (Oficina regional del consejo de monumentos nacionales de Chile) CyArk undertook a program to digitally record and install survey control at the site of Ahu Te Niu.
