This is a woodcut print depicting a ratha (chariot) from the Ratha Yatra or the chariot festival of Puri, Orissa. The chariot is pyramidal and has five tiers. The architectural style resembles the temples commonly found in Bengal and Orissa. The topmost tier of this chariot is further decorated with lights, bells and banners fluttering in the wind. A charioteer drives the chariot with two horses while two attendants and a musician stand at different locations.
