Believed to have been worn in Alfredo Di Stefano’s testimonial against Celtic. Perhaps the greatest Spanish footballer of all time, Di Stefano retired at the age of 40 in 1967 but, that night at the Bernabeu, Jimmy Johnstone stole the show. The Spanish crowd were on their feet, shouting ‘ole’ every time the little winger touched the ball. Celtic, the newly crowned champions of Europe, won the match 1-0 with Bobby Lennox scoring the only goal of the game.
