Jimmie Walker was an actor and comedian best known for his role on "Good Times" and his character's catchphrase "Dy-no-mite!" The show presented messages about unemployment, discrimination, poverty, and prejudices with the use of confrontational humor and candid commentary.

In 1975, Jimmie Walker performed his stand-up at the Cellar Door, a 163-seat music club in Washington, D.C. Customers who purchased the recording also received an order form for a T-Shirt and the J.J. Talking Character Doll from Shindana Toys.
