Country singer Patsy Cline died in a plane crash at the peak of her career in 1963. Her posthumous reputation has only continued to grow, earning her a place as the first female solo performer in the Country Music Hall of Fame in 1973, among numerous other recognitions. Her numerous hits--"Walkin' After Midnight," "I Fall to Pieces," "She's Got You," "Crazy," and "Sweet Dreams"--endure in popularity and have been covered by performers from all parts of the musical spectrum.
