Russian composer Sergei Prokofieff combined his original story and music in 1936's "Peter and the Wolf," a symphony with narration designed to introduce children to the instruments of an orchestra. Walt Disney incorporated "Peter and the Wolf" into the 1946 animated film "Make Mine Music." Like "Fantasia" before it, "Make Mine Music" consisted of unrelated musical set-pieces combined into a feature-length film. This album from RCA Victor's Little Nipper Series includes an illustrated storybook as well as two records.
