Having a famous musician for a parent is far from a guarantee of talent or success, but Johnny Cash's daughter Rosanne is among a small group of musical offspring who have parlayed their own talents and a famous name into a successful career. According to Jason Ankeny on allmusic.com, Cash's U.S. debut album, 1979's "Right or Wrong," featured three Top 25 hits, including 'No Memories Hangin' Round,' a duet with Bobby Bare. Cash issued her commercial breakthrough, 'Seven Year Ache,' in 1981; not only did the album yield three number one singles, the title track even crossed over into the Top 30 on Billboard's pop chart." "Seven Year Ache" a new sound that Cash and her husband/producer called "punktry" and helped change the shape of country music and artists in the years that followed.
