The exhibition considered the nation's musical output during an era of political turmoil, with a particular focus on the years 1960-1979. The exhibition was curated and edited by Oyinkan Dada and Edwin Okolo, and presented by Lagos-based lifestyle magazine, The Native, as part of its ROOTS series; a programme focused on the political and economic contexts for Nigeria’s pre and post war time music.
