This is a transcribed record about the history of the Takahashi family. It was copied in 1819. The original record was written by a vassal of the Miike domain, Ito Issa.
The one on the display here tells the following: Yoshihiro Akitada’s second son, Shizutane (later called Johun), succeeded the head of the Takahashi family by strong requests of the Takahashi family’s vassals; since the former head of the family, Takahashi Akitane, was transferred to the Kokura castle due to his rebellion.
