A pair of rooms in the New York apartment of writers Frederick Eberstadt and Isabel Nash, decorated for a party. The walls and open doorway have been completely curtained in cotton printed with red and white flowers, exposing only fluted wood pilasters. The tables are covered with identical cloth, and hold potted azaleas and African violets, alongside ceramic ashtrays. The chairs are surrounded by straight-backed gilded bamboo chairs.
