Evelyn is one of the women supported by Carakana Program and here she shares her story: EASING THE BURDEN
"My name is Evelyn and currently behind bars at Langata Women's Prisons. With what I have earned, I used to support myself because my family does not come to visit me and I do not want to burden them. I also send money to support my grandmother who raised me. I am grateful because I know soon I will be released and I have hope to start business and be an upstanding member of society. Thank you Carakana."
