Reflecting pool

The reflecting pool that surrounds the Museum is fueled by the Guanabara Bay and has also an educational function: to show how a filtering system. The sea water is pumped and filtered - creating a microclimate cooler, around the Museum - and then returns, cleaner, the Bay. The air conditioning cooling system also reuses water.
