The Regatta Hotel on Coronation Drive, Toowong, Brisbane, is listed with the Queensland Heritage Register. First built on the banks of the Brisbane River in 1874 as a small wooden hotel, it has remained a popular feature of the life and landscape in the suburb of Toowong ever since. The current 3-storey building with its cast iron lace verandahs was built in 1886 and has survived several major river floods, the latest of which was in 2011. The hotel takes its name from the rowing regattas on the Brisbane river which always finished at the hotel and which were resumed as the annual RegattaFest in 2002 raising funds for charity.
