Travel bag

The bag is an element of the representative travel luggage becoming fashionable in the mid-19th century. The red front is embellished with a grey and white poodle’s head with a plaid in its snout.The image is fashioned in the style of the “Berlin Wool Work” patterns spreading out from Berlin from the 1850s, and has been embroidered using wool and Venetian beads.
