Sergio Camargo began the series "Reliefs" in 1963. All works started from the same principle: have white wooden cylinders of various sizes and cuts at different angles on a flat surface, also in white and made of wood. The challenge is to create compositions in which the original geometric shape - cylinder or cobblestones - is systematically broken and rearticulated setting a new arrangement.
