This reliquary is considered one of the most interesting and uncommon pieces of oriental art. In fact its structure is markedly European, characterised by a truncated square base and splendour, typical of the 17th century monstrances. The exoticism of its decoration is evident particularly in the irregular rays in the shape of fish scales, and in the spheres situated on the base and at the knuckle.
The piece sits on a conical square base, from here the stem arises in a strangely triangular shape, topped by two circular bodies with striae in helicoidal form.
The splendour is made up of forty one rays, which surround ten oval receptacles for relics (since disappeared) under the glass, and one central. This group is topped by a Latin cross.
